Gujarat-based KPI Green Energy (formerly known as KPI Global Infrastructure) has secured orders to execute captive solar projects totaling 23.60 MW (DC) capacity. Of this amount, it will run 23.6 MW for New Jewelery and 3 MW for New Diamonds Manufacturing India.

In the captive power generation business segment, KPI develops, transfers, operates and maintains grid-connected solar power projects for CPP customers. It generates revenue by selling these projects to CPP customers for their captive use needs.

As of March 31, 2022, KPI has commissioned over 100 MW of cumulative solar capacity as an independent power producer (IPP) and over 65 MW as a service provider to captive power producers.

The company is targeting a cumulative IPP portfolio of 250 MW by 2025 and a CPP portfolio of 750 MW by 2025.
