Every once in a while, it’s time to take stock of the elements of your home and decide that certain things need to go. Whatever method you use for spring cleaning, Marie Kondo, Clutterbug, Flylady or the way your mother and grandmother did it, it has to be done.
One day you look around and realize that your drawers and cupboards are overflowing; the shelves are full of novels you’ll never read again, and no one’s using that thing someone gave the family last Christmas.
Your giant pile of miscellaneous is clean, useful, and in good working order, but you’ve decided the items can’t stay in your house any longer.
What do you do with all this???
Once you decide to give up, may I suggest donating your items to the Santa Clarita Assistance League resale store? We are a non-profit organization with several philanthropic programs such as Operation School Bell®, Fostering Success and icare for kids. Proceeds from our resale store, in addition to gifts and donations from our friends, help fund our programs that serve the needs of the Santa Clarita Valley community.
We welcome and greatly appreciate donations of items in good condition such as clothing, books, toys, jewelry, household items, collectibles, and electronics.
Your donations are tax deductible and receipts will be provided upon request.
Donation hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the back door of our store, or call 661-255-1991 to arrange drop-off. Our boutique-style resale store is located at 26045 Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, south of Valencia Boulevard.
